Frequently Asked Questions
How does the AC/DC dual power system work?
The fan runs on normal AC mains power by default and automatically switches to DC / battery power during a power cut, so airflow continues uninterrupted through load-shedding. It switches back to AC automatically once mains power returns.
Is a battery included, and how long does it last on backup?
The fan is battery compatible for backup operation during outages. Backup runtime depends on the battery capacity used and fan speed setting — contact us for guidance on matching a battery to your typical outage duration.
How does the 90° oscillation work?
Pull or press the oscillation control and the fan head will sweep back and forth to cover a wider area. Push it back in, or switch it off, to lock the fan facing one fixed direction.
Can this fan be used with a dimmer switch?
No. Do not use with a dimmer switch — this can damage the motor and will void the warranty. Connect directly to a standard switched outlet.
How do I mount this fan securely on the wall?
Mount the bracket on a solid wall (brick or concrete, not hollow drywall) using appropriate wall plugs and screws, positioned at a safe height above head level. Installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.
Does this fan come with a warranty?
Yes, every Wahid Fan carries an original factory warranty. Warranty duration varies by model — see the product specifications above or contact us for details.
